Beginning with character
This workshop shares different techniques for introducing characters in stories.
Activities will put skills into practice for fine-tuning creative elements
of works-in-progress or starting new ones.
Option 2. Deciphering the Magic
of Bubbles and Boxes
This presentation offers a breakdown of the basic story structures
for comic-style, hybrid, and highly illustrated children's books.
Attendees will learn how to shape their stories in a comic-style structure
or in a hybrid form with traditional narrative elements.
Option 3. Working toward WOW.
Your voice, Your character, Your story
This workshop focuses on developing and refining writer voice
in order to enhance a deeper POV of narration and character.
Writers of any age will walk away with confidence in their own style
of voice and clarity for moving forward with their projects.
